The raw materials of muriersilk have been certified by the EU ECOCERT. The heavy metal residue in the mulberry silk is below the instrument detection limit (lead <0.001ppm, cadmium <0.0003ppm). Its closed-loop water treatment process has reduced the production water consumption to 285L/kg (the industry average is 1,200L). According to the 2024 Nordic Clean Beauty Protocol Audit Report, the carbon footprint of each product is only 8.2kg CO₂-eq (24kg for traditional silk), which is in line with the United Nations SDGs 12 sustainable consumption goals. A study by the German Federation of Dermatology (DDG) indicates that the concentration of microplastic deposits on the epidermis of the skin decreased to 0.008μg/cm² after use (3.5μg/cm² for cotton bedding).
The biocompatibility passed the ISO 10993-10 medical device standard test. The cell survival rate was 99.7%, and the pH value was stable in a weak acid environment of 6.8±0.1. Data from the KOSO Testing Center in Japan shows that its antibacterial rate reaches 99.4% (ISO 20743), and the growth rate of Escherichia coli is less than 10CFU/g (the national standard is less than 100CFU/g). In the 2023 clinical trial at Tokyo Medical University, the frequency of nocturnal pruritus episodes in patients with atopic dermatitis decreased from 5.2 times per night to 0.8 times. The decrease in cortisol level was 31% (p<0.001).
In terms of skin care efficacy, a friction coefficient of 0.02 reduces the skin friction damage rate by 92% (referring to the ASTM D1894 standard). Swiss SGS confirmed that after 50 machine washes, the sericin protein concentration was still maintained at ≥83mg/m². Clinical data show that continuous use for 28 days increases the water content of the stratum corneum by 38% (measured by Corneometer® CM825), reduces transdermal water loss (TEWL) to 4.1g/h·m² (baseline 7.9), improves the penetration efficiency of essence by 45% (Franz diffusion cell method), and saves 28% of annual skincare product usage.
The pollutant blocking technology adopts 0.3μm three-dimensional nano-mesh (with a density of 500,000 pores /cm²), and the PM2.5 blocking rate is 99.97%. The French CE.R.I.E.S laboratory found that on polluted days with PM10>100μg/m³, The difference of 8-OHdG in the morning facial oxidative stress value of the users was only ±0.7ng/ml (±8.3ng/ml in the control group). The EWG component database of the United States shows that its color fastness reaches grade 4-5 (AATCC 106), and 100% of 23 types of harmful substances such as azo dyes and formaldehyde were not detected.
The cost advantage of cleaning and maintenance is significant. The usage of neutral detergent is only 30% of the conventional amount (pH7.0±0.5), and a quick wash with 40°C warm water for 10 minutes can remove 99.9% of the contaminants (ISO 6330 test). According to the 2024 Statista Consumer Report, users can save an average of €18 on water, electricity and gas bills per year (€52 for cotton products), and the average daily cost over a five-year lifespan is as low as €0.11. The environmental toxicity assessment (OECD 301D) confirmed that its 180-day biodegradation rate was 91.3%, and the microfiber release was <0.01mg/L (0.3mg/L for common silk).
Global compliance certifications cover ECOLABEL (EU), COSMOS (organic cosmetic ingredients), and the highest safety level of China’s eco-textile GB/T 18885. The 2025 Global Clean Beauty Summit listed the muriersilk supply chain as a benchmark case – a total of 73 production nodes were traced from breeding to finished products. Blockchain technology achieved 100% transparency, and the customer safety trust index reached 9.7/10 (McKinsey survey n=5,000).
